Start to Pitch

Smile Migraine entered the incubation program by The Northern Science and Technology Park (STEP), which we learnt the process of innovation and startup way by great mentor. At that time, Dr. Ronnakorn, the head of CU innovation hub became our team consultant.

Pitching Pitching Pitching is the startup way, and we won the 2nd prize winner on Spin-Off Startup Project (2019) among 13 great teams in the final round, and we got the funding from Medicopolis project by TCEL (2020).

The Early Day

Smile migraine is a Tech startup company founded in 2018 by Dr. Surat Tanprawate who is specialized on migraine and headache disorder. In 2017, Dr. Surat Tanprawate developed “Smart Headache Program and Mobile Application”, one of the “Smart City Innovation Hub Project”. The first prototype was a simple mobile headache diary which can send the migraine headache record linked to the Hospital Information System. In 2018, the Smile Migraine, Co. Ltd was founded by Dr. Surat, and Ms. Nichanat Chummano (Co-founder) to develop the second prototype of “Smile Migraine Application”, which design UX/UI, added new chat with the expert feature, and notification.

Community and Network

We believe the power of connection to drive change. We build the largest online migraine community on Smile Migraine Facebook Page and hit over 100,000 followers on July 2020. We begin the professional network starting with “Smile Migraine Pharma Network” which provide the migraine educational resource and training, locate map of drug store in our network, and collaborate with Faculty of Pharmacy, Chiang Mai University.

In 2021, Smile migraine team enter as one of the 20 teams finalist in “Nin Mangkorn Competition Project”, which is the National Biz competition project by NIA, and also win the NCD innovation award amongst 10 teams competition.
