ChivaCare, established in late 2017, inaugurated the ChivaCare Center in August 2018, which seamlessly integrated with Brain Clinic Dr. Surat, operational since 2016.

Founded by Dr. Surat Tanprawate, a renowned brain specialist, Martin Venskystalling, a German consultant associated with STEP and founder of TEDx Chiang Mai, and Peter Seider, a seasoned New Yorker with a background in tech business building, ChivaCare's mission is to offer professional, integrated, and holistic care with a person-centric and creative approach. This initiative began with the integration of Dr. Surat's Brain Clinic and the establishment of a new rehabilitation clinic dedicated to brain and pain disorders.

ChivaCare now boasts three centers:

  1. ChivaCare Brain & Pain Rehabilitation Clinic: Focused on outpatient services, including diagnostics and therapeutics, this clinic provides holistic care with an emphasis on brain and pain rehabilitation.

  2. ChivaCare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center: A 47-bed nursing home dedicated to the recovery of patients dealing with conditions such as stroke, dementia, and other ailments requiring specialized care.

  3. Chivitar Wellness Center: A prevention-focused wellness center promoting overall well-being.

ChivaCare's strategic direction includes key principles:

  • Professional Care: Offering high-quality, expert care.

  • Holistic and Integrative Approach: Addressing the patient's needs comprehensively.

  • Patient-Focused: Tailoring services to individual needs.

  • Innovation and Technology Support: Embracing technological advancements.

Currently, ChivaCare has established a strategic partnership with the Suandok Medical Innovation District (SMID) and introduced the ChivaCare Innovation Lab (CILB). This lab serves as a real-world innovation testing ground for medical products and services, involving real patients in accordance with established rules and guidelines.

ChivaCare's product portfolio extends to innovative technologies aligned with its core objectives. Funding from the National Innovation Agency (NIA) has been instrumental in supporting the development of the "Recovery Platform." This platform customizes rehabilitation programs for patients dealing with conditions like stroke, Parkinson's, and dementia.

Additionally, ChivaCare is driving the "Welderly Platform," a system designed to manage and provide care for patients in nursing homes, further demonstrating its commitment to advancing healthcare through innovation and technology.
